About the Role
Location: Trivandrum (Work From Office)
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred
We are seeking an experienced MATLAB/Simulink Engineer with strong expertise in Model-Based Development (MBD) and automotive embedded software development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and reverse-engineering a complex legacy Simulink model used for Automotive Seat Movement ECU software generation and implementing functional enhancements with minimal documentation support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and reverse-engineer an existing Simulink model with limited documentation.
- Analyze model architecture, functionality, and code-generation workflow.
- Implement a minor functional enhancement/change.
- Verify model behavior and ensure successful code generation.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Development (MBD).
- Experience with automotive embedded systems and ECU software development.
- Ability to work independently on legacy models with minimal documentation.
- Familiarity with code generation and debugging of Simulink models.
Preferred:
- Experience with automotive seating, body electronics, or motor control ECUs.
- Exposure to ASPICE and automotive software development processes.
Technical Skills & Tools:
- Solid hands-on expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder/TargetLink, Model-Based Development (MBD), code generation, model debugging, and automotive embedded ECU software development.
