Role Description The Mathematics Teacher at EdifyChamps will deliver engaging online math lessons to school-age students, using virtual platforms and digital tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans aligned with learning goals, explaining mathematical concepts clearly, guiding students through problem-solving, and providing regular feedback on their progress.

The teacher will also adapt instruction to different learning styles, assign and review practice work, and communicate with parents or guardians as needed. This is a part-time,



remote role that requires reliable internet access and availability during agreed online tutoring hours.

Qualifications

- Robust subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education , with the ability to teach core and advanced concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for school-age learners in an online or classroom setting.
- Status as a Qualified Teacher with relevant teaching certifications or licenses, and prior experience teaching mathematics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in simple, age-appropriate language.
- Comfort with online teaching tools and learning management systems, and a reliable technical setup for remote instruction.
- Strong classroom management in virtual environments, patience, and a learner-centered, inclusive teaching approach.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, or a closely related field is preferred.
