Role Description This is a full-time, in office Marketing Manager role based in Chennai.

The Marketing

Manager will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies that support WABAG’s business objectives in the water technology sector, including brand positioning, campaign management, and lead generation. Day-to-day activities include developing marketing plans, managing digital and traditional marketing channels, coordinating content creation, overseeing events and conferences, and collaborating with sales and technical teams to create customer-focused messaging.



The role also involves monitoring market trends and competitor activities, analyzing campaign performance, managing budgets, and ensuring consistent brand communication across all touchpoints.

The Marketing

Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver effective marketing initiatives that reinforce WABAG’s global presence and sustainability-driven mission.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in marketing strategy, brand management, and campaign planning, with the ability to align initiatives to business goals.
- Experience in digital marketing, including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and analytics tools to measure performance and optimize activities.
- Proficiency in marketing communications, content development, and copywriting for multiple channels (web, print, presentations, and corporate collateral).
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable marketing plans and reports.
- Demonstrated experience in event management, trade shows, and stakeholder engagement, preferably in B2B or industrial sectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, technical, and leadership teams.
- Solid project management skills, including planning, prioritization, and budget management, with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards.
