Somesh Chandak & Associates is a Thane-based CA firm serving MSMEs, startups, exporters and companies across GST, income tax, TDS, ROC compliance, accounting, audit and advisory. We are looking for a proactive Marketing Intern to help us build and manage relationships with our clients and prospects.

Role Structure

This is a 6-month paid internship (stipend Rs. 10,000/month), with conversion to a full-time employee role for candidates who perform well, based on mutual fit and firm requirement at the end of the internship period. The role is centred on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - maintaining and growing our client/prospect database and supporting client communication and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client and prospect information.

Follow up with leads and enquiries received through website, referrals and social media.

Coordinate with the team to ensure timely client communication and service delivery updates.

Assist in drafting client communication, proposals and engagement follow-ups.

Support in organising client onboarding and documentation tracking.

Identify opportunities for client retention and cross-selling of services (GST, tax, ROC, accounting, valuation,



advisory).

Maintain MIS/trackers for leads, conversions and client feedback.

Assist with basic digital marketing and social media coordination as required.

Requirements

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or related field.

Good command of MS Excel and comfort working with data and trackers.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable with regular follow-ups.

Willingness to learn CRM tools and basic accounting/compliance terminology relevant to a CA practice.

Prior internship experience in marketing, CRM or sales support is an advantage but not mandatory.
