Key Responsibilities

- Blueprint &
- Drawing Interpretation:

Read and analyze complex engineering blueprints, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications to determine dimensions and assembly sequences.

- Metal Fabrication &

- Cutting:

Measure, mark, cut, bevel, grind, and shape steel plates, pipes, structural beams, and bulkheads using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery.

- Structural Assembly &

- Alignment:

Fit, align, and position parts (such as hull frames, decks, brackets, clips, and bulkheads) in the hull using jacks, chain blocks, and wedges prior to permanent welding.

- Mechanical &

- Piping Installation:

Install and align auxiliary machinery, deck equipment, and marine piping systems (fuel, bilge, firefighting, and cooling systems).

- Quality &

- Safety Compliance:

Work alongside welders and QA/QC inspectors to ensure dimensional accuracy, perform tack welding to secure parts, and strictly follow shipyard safety protocol

Pay: ₹9,266.93 - ₹29,080.91 per month
