Job Summary

The manager - Strategic Initiatives at Godrej Industries Group plays a pivotal role in driving transformational projects and supporting the organisation's business objectives. This position partners with functional and regional leaders to design and implement strategic initiatives, identify process improvements, and manage end-to-end project execution. The role involves close collaboration with consulting firms and internal teams to deliver high-impact assignments and support the MD's office on special projects. The manager is expected to prepare executive-level presentations and communicate with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

- Drive strategic initiatives by partnering with Functional Heads and Regional Heads on high-impact business assignments.

- Design and implement transformational projects using internal and external best practices.

- Identify process gaps and lead organization-wide improvements to enhance business performance.

- Manage end-to-end execution of strategic projects, including planning, tracking, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.

- Collaborate with leading consulting firms such as Bain, McKinsey, and BCG to deliver strategic priorities.

- Support the MDs office on short-term strategic assignments and special projects.

- Work closely with Business Planning and Zonal Strategy teams during the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

- Lead initiatives to improve business planning and budgeting processes.

- Prepare executive-level presentations and communication materials for the Chairman, MD, and Board of Directors.

- Strong influencing skills and ability to drive decisions across teams.

- Elder care for those who might need to extend support to senior family members.

Education

- Undergraduate degree from a reputed institution.

- MBA from a Tier-1 institute such as IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, MDI, or a leading international business school.

Experience

Work Experience: 2-4 years.
