Responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier development, cost optimization, and supply assurance of automotive electronic components including PCBAs, semiconductors, sensors, controllers, displays, connectors, wiring harnesses, and related electronic assemblies. Ensure uninterrupted supply while achieving cost, quality, delivery, and localization targets.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for automotive electronic components.
- Lead RFQ, supplier selection, techno-commercial negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Identify alternate sources to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Drive localization and supplier diversification initiatives.

Supplier Management

- Evaluate, develop, and manage domestic and international suppliers.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews based on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Development (QCDD).
- Coordinate supplier audits along with Quality and Engineering teams.
- Ensure supplier compliance with automotive industry standards.

Cost Management

- Lead annual cost reduction and VA/VE initiatives.




- Analyze cost breakdowns of electronic components and assemblies.
- Support budgeting and target cost activities.
- Monitor commodity trends and recommend sourcing strategies.

Supply Chain Management

- Ensure uninterrupted availability of critical electronic components.
- Manage inventory levels and lead-time optimization.
- Coordinate with suppliers to improve delivery performance.
- Monitor supply chain risks related to semiconductors and other critical components. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with R&D;, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams.
- Support new product development projects through supplier nomination and procurement planning.
- Participate in APQP activities and current supplier onboarding processes. Contract & Compliance Management

- Negotiate commercial agreements, payment terms, logistics terms, and service level agreements.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
- Maintain procurement documentation and audit readiness.
