Job Title : Manager - QA (Lab)

Location : Chennai Office

Reports to (Position) : Head - QA

Department/Function : Quality Assurance

Purpose of the Job : Responsible for ensuring testing and releasing of incoming raw materials and in-process materials and release to production. Manage testing equipments AMC and maintenance, manage calibration of lab equipments and implementation of MSA for lab equipments, develop/maintain standard test methods, and manage laboratory team members.

Major Responsibilities

1. Ensure testing and releasing of incoming raw materials and in-process materials testing as per standards.
2. Management of AMC for testing equipments and maintenance of its breakdown.
3. Organise for secure working environment in laboratory.
4. Ensuring internal calibration of lab equipments.
5.



Conduct MSA study for measuring equipments.
6. Provide adequate training on test methods and enhance knowledge.
7. Establish and maintain 5S in laboratory.
8. Promoting TQM practices in laboratory.
9. Ensuring OHS training adherence.

Knowledge (Technical / Functional)

1. Knowledge on standard test methods.
