Role Description This is a full time, on-site Manager role located in Ahmedabad. The Manager will oversee daily mill operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and monitoring output to meet quality and delivery targets. The position involves supervising teams on the shop floor, ensuring compliance with safety and workplace policies, and coordinating with maintenance, procurement, and logistics to minimize downtime.

The Manager will track key performance indicators, prepare operational reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives in processes and cost efficiency. The role also includes communicating with senior leadership about production status, risks, and opportunities, and supporting training and development of team members.





Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people-management skills, with experience supervising teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of textile or related manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control practices.
- Ability to manage operations, including scheduling, resource management, and coordination with cross-functional departments.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using data and reports to make operational decisions.
- Effective communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback.
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards, compliance requirements, and basic maintenance coordination.
- Comfort with using basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, production tracking tools) for documentation and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in textiles, engineering, operations management, or a related field; relevant experience in mill or plant management is highly valued.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, maintain regular attendance, and adapt to a shift-based or extended-hours environment when required.
