Role & responsibilities lead the design and development of Knife Gate Valves for industrial applications. The incumbent will be responsible for product design, engineering calculations, design validation, recent product development, customization, value engineering, and leading a team of design engineers while ensuring compliance with international standards and customer specifications.

- Lead the complete design and development of Knife Gate Valves for various industrial applications.
- Develop 3D models, manufacturing drawings, GA drawings, and BOMs using CAD software.
- Design valves in accordance with international standards such as MSS, API, ASME, ISO, EN, AWWA, and customer specifications.
- Perform engineering calculations including pressure containment, wall thickness, stem design, flange design, actuator sizing, and structural analysis.





Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.
- 7 to12 years of experience in industrial valve design.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing Knife Gate Valves.
- Experience in leading engineering and product design teams.
- Exposure to multinational manufacturing environments is preferred.
