Role & responsibilities:

- Solid experience in IBM CICS Transaction Server (CICS TS) administration, including CICSPlex SM, CICS region management, and transaction processing.

- Expertise in CICS performance tuning, recovery management, diagnostics, dump analysis, and problem determination.

- Experience integrating CICS with IBM MQ, DB2, RACF, and z/OS subsystems.

- Knowledge of high-availability, workload management, and mission-critical transaction processing environments.

- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware ESX, and public/private cloud environments, including on-premises to cloud migrations.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Experience with CICSPlex SM, CICS upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and release management.

- Knowledge of OMEGAMON for CICS, CICS Explorer, JCL, SMP/E, and REXX.

- Familiarity with Parallel Sysplex, workload balancing, disaster recovery, and resilience architectures.

- Understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.

- Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), vulnerability management, Active Directory, and ADFS.

- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
