MacOS Software Packaging Engineer

Location: Hyderabad / Pune / Bangalore

Shift Timings: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

About the Role

We're looking for a macOS Software Packaging Engineer to build, automate, and maintain software deployment packages for enterprise environments. This role focuses on macOS packaging but also welcomes candidates with cross-platform (Windows) packaging experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and maintain macOS software packages (.pkg, .dmg)
- Develop silent installation and uninstallation workflows
- Automate packaging using PowerShell, Python, Go, and Windows installer formats (MSI/EXE)
- Perform installation, upgrade, regression, and stability testing
- Troubleshoot system logs, installer failures, and deployment issues





Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with macOS package and disk-image deployment
- Solid shell scripting and Python automation skills
- macOS installation and system administration knowledge
- Understanding of package signing and security practices (code signing/notarization)
- Strong system diagnostics and troubleshooting ability

Good to Have
- Prior exposure to Windows packaging (MSI, EXE, PowerShell)
- Experience with Go-based automation tooling
- Familiarity with MDM tools (Jamf, Intune, SCCM, Munki)
