Role Description The Machine Learning Intern (Students only) role at NexLevr is a full time remote position focused on designing, implementing, and evaluating machine learning and deep learning models for real-world applications. Day-to-day tasks include exploring datasets, conducting experiments, tuning algorithms, and assisting in deploying models into production environments under guidance from senior team members. The intern will collaborate with engineers and researchers to prototype new ideas, document methodologies, and present findings to the team.

Responsibilities also include reading and summarizing relevant research papers, maintaining well-structured code, and participating in regular stand-ups and review sessions.



This role is designed to provide hands-on experience and mentorship while contributing to innovative product development.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, Algorithms, and software development fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning concepts and practical experience with model training, evaluation, and optimization.
- Exposure to Deep Learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and ability to implement neural network architectures.
- Knowledge of Statistics, probability, and basic data analysis methods relevant to building and validating models.
- Proficiency in a programming language commonly used in ML (such as Python), and familiarity with libraries like NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering) with strong academic performance.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated interest in AI/ML through coursework, personal projects, research, or participation in competitions is highly beneficial.
