Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistic Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing import and export logistics operations, coordinating shipments across air, sea, and road transportation modes, and ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, transporters, suppliers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations for domestic and international shipments.
- Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance activities, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Track air, sea, and road shipments and provide timely status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers (CHA), transporters, shipping lines, and suppliers to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Maintain shipment records, logistics trackers, and MIS reports.
- Review freight quotations and support cost analysis to ensure cost-effective logistics operations.
- Ensure on-time delivery of shipments while maintaining service quality and compliance standards.
- Support logistics audits, compliance activities, and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams and internal stakeholders for efficient shipment planning and execution.




- Monitor logistics performance and proactively resolve shipment-related issues.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of import and export logistics processes.
- Experience handling air, sea, and road shipments.
- Hands-on knowledge of shipping documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Air Waybill (AWB), Bill of Lading (BL), Certificate of Origin (COO), and insurance documentation.
- Good understanding of Incoterms 2020 and customs clearance procedures.
- Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers (CHA), transporters, and shipping lines.
- Knowledge of shipment tracking, logistics reporting (MIS), and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a rapid-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati to support coordination with local and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, EXIM, Freight Management, or a related function.
- Experience managing import/export operations and customs documentation.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, transporters, and shipping service providers.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Engineering, or Manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Oracle OTM/GTM, ICEGATE, or international freight management processes is preferred.
