Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Litigation Associate role based in Delhi, India.

The Litigation

Associate will assist in drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, written submissions, and other court documents for matters before the Supreme Court, High Courts, and District Courts. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing case notes and briefs, coordinating with senior counsel, and supporting case strategy and trial preparation. The role also involves attending court hearings, managing case files, interacting with clients under supervision, and ensuring timely compliance with procedural and filing requirements.



The associate will collaborate closely with the firm’s partners and team members to deliver precise, well-reasoned legal work.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, including substantive and procedural aspects relevant to litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to draft and review Motions and other pleadings with attention to detail and clarity.
- Proficient in legal Research, including case law, statutes, and secondary sources, and in preparing research memoranda.
- Experience or training in handling Depositions, witness preparation, and evidence review is preferred.
- Familiarity with functioning of Courts, including the Supreme Court, High Courts, and District Courts, and related court rules.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong advocacy and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple matters, and collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.
- LL.B. (or equivalent law degree) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council in India.
- Prior litigation internship or work experience is an advantage, particularly in appellate or commercial matters.
