Job Summary

Karma Global Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented LIHTC Compliance Associate to support affordable housing compliance activities for US-based properties. The role involves reviewing resident files, verifying income and assets, conducting compliance audits, calculating rents, and ensuring adherence to LIHTC, Section 8, HUD, and IRS requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines accurately.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor compliance with LIHTC, Section 8, HUD, IRS, and other affordable housing program requirements.
- Review resident applications, certifications, and recertifications for program eligibility and accuracy.
- Verify resident income, assets, household composition, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct file audits, income verifications, and rent calculations to ensure compliance.
- Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving compliance issues and documentation gaps.
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports within defined deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for resident files and compliance activities.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and affordable housing program requirements.




- Communicate compliance updates and requirements to relevant internal teams.
- Support training and guidance for on-site staff and property management teams.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely completion of compliance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Com / Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in US Accounting, KPO, BPO, property management, compliance, or documentation preferred.
- Knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, HUD, or affordable housing compliance will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of documentation and data verification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Willingness to work in a US-aligned shift.
