Role Description The Legal Associate will support the firm’s venture capital and advisory activities by handling a range of legal and compliance matters. This full-time hybrid role is based in Mumbai, with some flexibility for work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents and agreements related to investments, advisory mandates, and corporate governance.

The Legal

Associate will conduct legal research, analyze regulatory and contractual issues, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure transactions comply with applicable laws and firm policies. The role also involves maintaining accurate legal records,



supporting due diligence processes, and preparing clear, concise communications and summaries for the investment and advisory teams.

Qualifications

- Strong grounding in Law, with the ability to identify and address Legal Issues in venture capital and advisory contexts.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and structuring investment, advisory, and corporate agreements.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret statutes, regulations, contracts, and due diligence findings.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, portfolio companies, and external legal advisors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from an accredited institution; LL.M or specialized corporate/transactional law training is an advantage.
- Prior experience or internships in corporate law, venture capital, private equity, or financial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with Indian corporate, securities, and investment regulations; ability to stay current on relevant legal developments.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage multiple matters within deadlines in a hybrid work setting.
