Job Summary
Owns advanced system administration responsibilities across server compute environments ensuring stable, secure, scalable and well-governed infrastructure operations by driving configuration management, platform hygiene, automation adoption and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead system administration for Linux/Windows compute environments including configuration management, OS performance tuning, patching, upgrades and lifecycle maintenance.
- Implement automation scripts / workflows for routine ops, deployment, configuration changes workplace hygiene reduction of manual work.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for compute platform incidents, support RCA actions and ensure closure of high impact issues.
- Support capacity planning, resource optimization and compute cost optimization with platform teams.
- Ensure enterprise security baseline compliance, vulnerability remediation and system hardening controls.
- Review changes,
validate implementation quality, coach junior engineers and uplift operational maturity.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements, including change control discipline, access management standards, and audit trail maintenance.
