Job Objective

Positions, directs and works with associates to wash, dry and iron linen for both guest rooms and Food and Beverage/Culinary Department within existing time constraints to meet the brand s standards, targets customer needs, elevates associate satisfaction, focuses on growing revenues, maximizes the financial performance of the department and oversees the development implementation of the departmental strategies

Essential Job Tasks

Ensure timely delivery of guest garments and provide high quality of linen and uniforms as per the instructions.

Areas of Responsibility

- Maintain effective and prompt service, And timely delivery of all guest Garments.
- Ensures systematic adherence to cleaning instructions.
- Follows the complaint handling procedure.
- Ensures adherence to environmental procedures.
- Ensures upkeep of all the equipment.
- Conducts training as an on-going process
- Always attends and provides inputs for internal meetings.
- Be familiar with the emergency and safety procedures
- Reviews log book for special requests and special instructions.
- Answers telephone in a courteous manner.
- Feeds the relevant data within the computer system.
- Prepares the bill on the basis of the rate list and posts them to the appropriate room number.
- Adheres to the hygiene standards.




- Responsible for giving the staff uniform in clean and well pressed state
- Ensures that the linen is washed, pressed, dried and folded properly.
- Ensures that the stained linen are removed for special stain removal treatment.
- Ensures that the stains that are fast are separately given for condemnation for further use by the linen room.
- Ensures that the equipment is maintained in positive working order.
- In addition to the above-mentioned duties and job functions, performs any other assignment given by the management within the scope of job

Required Qualifications

Diploma/Graduate in any discipline and advanced knowledge in Hospitality Management, Textile Mangement and Housekeeping Management.

Work Experience

3-5 Years
