Sampler – Lab Technician

Location: Baidyabati, Hoogly

Experience: 2 years to 4 years

Qualification: B.Sc. (Preferred – Chemistry / Environmental Science or related), Science Background.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and energetic Sampler to join our analytical testing laboratory and for a skilled and dedicated Lab Technician to join our Oil Testing Laboratory. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in Science and hands-on experience in operating various oil testing instruments and machinery within the oil industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines during sampling.
- Label, preserve, and transport samples to the laboratory within specified timelines.
- Maintain proper documentation, sampling records, and chain-of-custody forms.
- Coordinate with laboratory and reporting teams for sample handover.
- Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Operate and maintain all laboratory equipment used for oil analysis and testing.
- Conduct precise sample collection and perform routine chemical/physical analysis.
- Document test results accurately and prepare comprehensive laboratory reports.




- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Candidate Requirements:

- Willingness to join immediately.
- Basic understanding of laboratory or sampling concepts (training will be provided), Prior experience in an Oil Testing Lab or the Oil Industry is mandatory.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Physically fit for the work.
- Minimum of a B.Sc. or Diploma in Science (Chemistry / Environmental Science or related field preferred).
- Must be proficient in handling modern oil testing machinery and equipment.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong technical troubleshooting skills.
