Job Summary
CODE Hospital is looking for a skilled and responsible Lab Technician – Home Collection to perform sample collection from patients at their homes and ensure proper handling, labeling, transportation, and processing of specimens according to laboratory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit patients' homes and collect blood and other clinical samples as required.
- Perform sample collection safely and professionally while maintaining patient comfort.
- Properly identify, label, and document all collected samples.
- Follow appropriate procedures for sample handling, storage, and transportation.
- Ensure timely transportation of samples to the hospital/laboratory.
- Maintain proper documentation of home collection visits and samples.
- Follow infection-control, biomedical waste management, and safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with patients and their family members.
- Coordinate with the laboratory team regarding sample status and requirements.
- Handle laboratory equipment and collection materials responsibly.
- Report any issues related to sample collection or transportation to the concerned supervisor.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies.
Experience
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may apply.
- Experience in home sample collection or diagnostic laboratory services will be preferred.
Mandatory Requirements
- Valid two-wheeler/bike is mandatory.
- Valid driving licence is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel to patients' homes for sample collection.
- Good knowledge of blood/sample collection procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be skilled, punctual, patient-friendly, and comfortable travelling for home sample collection. Candidates must have their own bike/two-wheeler and a valid driving licence.
