Role Description The Carpenter role at CAREERBLOC is a full-time, remote position focused on delivering high-quality carpentry work for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting blueprints or project plans, constructing and installing structural frameworks, and performing finish carpentry tasks such as trim, molding, and cabinetry.

The Carpenter will safely operate and maintain power tools and hand tools,



measure and cut materials to exact specifications, and ensure that all work meets safety standards and quality requirements. The role may also involve collaborating with project managers, coordinating with other trades, estimating material needs, and documenting progress to meet project timelines and client expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong carpentry skills, including experience with framing and finish carpentry.
- Proficiency with power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders, used safely and efficiently.
- Skilled use of hand tools including hammers, levels, chisels, and measuring tools for precise work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Solid understanding of construction safety practices and building codes.
- Effective time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Previous experience as a carpenter or in a related construction trade; apprenticeship or vocational training is an advantage.
- Reliable internet access for remote coordination, reporting, and project communication.
