: Junior Officer Detailer (PEB Industry)

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Role Purpose

Support the detailing team in preparing accurate fabrication and erection drawings for Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects, ensuring drawings comply with approved design calculations, project specifications, quality standards, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings for primary and secondary steel members, including columns, rafters, beams, bracings, purlins, girts, and other PEB components.
- Develop erection drawings, general arrangement drawings, shop drawings, connection details, and bill of materials.
- Interpret approved structural drawings, design inputs, architectural drawings, and client specifications.
- Prepare drawings using Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, or other approved detailing software.
- Generate material take-offs, bolt lists, assembly drawings, part drawings, and nesting inputs as required.
- Coordinate with design, production, procurement, quality, and project teams to resolve drawing-related queries.
- Incorporate revisions, comments, and changes issued by senior engineers, clients, or consultants.
- Check drawings for dimensions,



member marks, connection details, weld symbols, bolt details, and material specifications before submission.
- Maintain proper drawing records, revision history, and document control.
- Support preparation of RFIs and resolve site or fabrication queries under guidance.
- Follow company standards, safety requirements, and project-specific detailing procedures.
- Meet assigned drawing schedules and contribute to on-time project delivery.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of steel structures and PEB components.
- Familiarity with fabrication and erection processes.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD; exposure to Tekla Structures is preferred.
- Ability to read structural, architectural, and fabrication drawings.
- Basic understanding of steel connections, bolts, welding symbols, and material grades.
- Valuable attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and drawing discipline.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation practices.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
