Junior Accountant – Steel Manufacturing

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support the day-to-day finance and accounting activities of our steel manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Record day-to-day accounting transactions, including purchases, sales, expenses, receipts and payments.
- Maintain cash, bank and ledger accounts and assist with bank reconciliation.
- Verify purchase invoices, GRNs and supporting documents.
- Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and assist with reconciliation.
- Assist in preparation of daily/monthly MIS and accounting reports.
- Support inventory accounting and reconciliation of raw materials, stores, WIP and finished goods.
- Assist in tracking production, consumption, dispatch and cost-related data.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.




- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, Sales and Commercial teams for accounting-related matters.
- Perform other accounting and finance activities as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Ideal Candidate:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting; manufacturing/steel industry experience preferred.
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- Valuable knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
- Good numerical, reconciliation and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work in a plant/manufacturing environment.

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com preferred Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
