Junior Accountant —

About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance function. This role is focused on financial operations and reporting beyond day-to-day bookkeeping — the ideal candidate will support compliance, reconciliation, MIS, and coordination with external stakeholders (auditors, CA, vendors, banks), freeing up bandwidth for higher-level financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing MIS reports, financial summaries, and periodic management reports
- Support GST return filing, TDS compliance, and coordination with the company's CA/tax consultant
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Reconcile vendor and client accounts; follow up on outstanding payments/receivables
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and variance analysis
- Support internal and statutory audit processes by preparing required documentation
- Maintain and organize financial records for easy retrieval and compliance
- Ensure timely compliance with statutory filings and regulatory deadlines

What We're Looking For




- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance in India
- Familiarity with accounting software Tally,and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
- Good communication skills to coordinate with vendors, auditors, and internal teams
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating closely with the finance team
- Prior internship or work experience in accounting/finance is a plus, but not mandatory.
- AI tools knowledge like Chatgpt and claude.
