Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Joinery Carpenter & Installer to join our team and work on a variety of bespoke and commercial fit-out projects. The successful candidate will fabricate, assemble, finish, and install high-quality joinery products. The role requires solid technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

● Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications. ● Accurately measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood and wood-based materials.

● Fabricate and install cabinetry, doors, staircases, partitions, skirting, cladding, and other joinery products.

● Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely.

● Carry out on-site installation of fitted furniture and bespoke joinery.

● Ensure all installations meet required quality and finishing standards.

● Work closely with site supervisors, designers, and other trades.





● Follow company health and safety procedures and relevant workplace regulations.

● Carry out adjustments, repairs, finishing, and corrective work when required.

● Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Requirements

● Minimum 2 years of experience as a Joinery Carpenter and Installer; a minimum of 5 years' experience is preferred. ● Strong practical skills in both workshop joinery and on-site installation.

● Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

● Good knowledge of measuring tools and accurate measurement techniques.

● Competent in using woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools.

● Good understanding of different joinery materials and construction methods.

● Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Good problem-solving and practical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

● Trade qualification or vocational training in carpentry/joinery is preferred.
