About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using Java and Spring frameworks. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and delivery within an Agile environment, ensuring that our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Your expertise will be vital in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, product owners, and technical project managers, to implement extensible and scalable solutions. Additionally, you will evaluate third-party APIs for integration, create comprehensive documentation for design and architecture, and mentor junior engineers by performing code reviews and providing technical guidance to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background with expertise in modern Java technologies including Java,



Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.

Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases, is essential. Candidates must have a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, XML, JSON, and Protobuf for data exchange. Familiarity with streaming frameworks like Kafka, Apache Flink, or Apache Storm, as well as caching solutions such as Memcached or Redis, is highly desirable.

Knowledge of industry-standard API tooling such as Postman, Castlemock, Apigee, and Swagger is required. Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus, along with version control systems like GitLab or GitHub, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, is necessary. Additionally, candidates should be familiar with application security standards like OWASP and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Keeping pace with the latest technological advancements is also critical.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop high-performance, scalable, robust, and reliable applications utilizing Java and Spring frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement and delivery processes within an Agile development environment to enhance software quality and deployment efficiency.
- Write automated unit and integration tests to support continuous integration pipelines and ensure code quality.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, product owners, and TPMs to develop extensible and scalable solutions.
- Evaluate third-party APIs and capabilities for seamless integration with existing products.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation covering design, architecture, API specifications, and interfaces to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing to foster team growth and expertise.
