About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our fully remote team at Textellent, Inc. This role is instrumental in driving our technological advancements, particularly through AI-driven development practices. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, designing high-performance APIs, and utilizing AI tools to automate and optimize development workflows.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 7 years of experience in backend development, demonstrating proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and AWS cloud services.

Experience with deploying and managing applications on AWS (including EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, SQS) is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitHub and Jenkins, is required. Additionally, candidates should have an interest in or experience with AI-based development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable.

Strong communication and collaboration skills are vital, especially in a remote work environment. A proactive problem-solving attitude and a passion for innovation are highly valued.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain robust backend functionalities using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Design, optimize, and manage relational databases with SQL to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes, primarily using GitHub and Jenkins.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment cycles,



ensuring rapid delivery of features.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and frontend developers to deliver impactful features and enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and continuously seek opportunities to improve system performance and security.
