Role Description This is a part-time and full-time role for a Japanese Language Trainer based in India. The trainer will conduct interactive Japanese language classes for beginner to intermediate learners, following Yoisho Academy’s curriculum and teaching standards. Daily activities include preparing lesson plans, delivering structured lessons, guiding conversation practice, and introducing cultural topics relevant to learners’ goals.

The role also involves assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback,



and supporting students preparing for JLPT exams. The trainer will collaborate with the academic team to refine teaching materials and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom setting.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to engage learners of diverse backgrounds.
- Competence in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing structured, goal-oriented lessons.
- Knowledge of Japanese Literature or related cultural content to enrich classroom discussions.
- Proficiency in Japanese language (JLPT N2 or above, or equivalent) and solid command of English for instruction and communication.
- Prior experience as a language tutor or trainer, preferably in Japanese for atleast 6 months and above, is an advantage.
- Clear communication skills, patience, and a learner-centered approach to teaching.
- Ability to maintain punctuality and reliability in class schedules.
- Relevant academic background in Languages, Education, Japanese Studies, or a related field is beneficial.
