1. Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system and book stock.
2. Identify shortages, excess, damaged, slow-moving and non-moving stock and report key issues to management.
3. Monitor stock receiving, dispatch, transfers, returns and inter-branch movements with proper documentation.
4. Maintain the latest approved product price list and update prices when purchase cost, supplier price, GST, freight or other cost factors change.
5. Ensure updated prices are communicated to all branches and sales personnel and that quotations, orders and invoices follow approved pricing.
6. Maintain records of price revisions and coordinate with management before major price changes.
7. Monitor stock and pricing processes, identify control gaps and recommend practical corrective actions.
8. Coordinate with Calicut, Kochi and Trivandrum branches to ensure uniform stock and pricing practices.
9. Follow up on discrepancies and pending corrections until they are resolved.
10. Provide management with accurate and timely inventory,
pricing and control information.
