Role & responsibilities

- Assist in developing and executing the annual risk-based internal audit plan.
- Conduct operational, financial, compliance, IT, and special audits in accordance with approved audit methodologies.
- Perform process walkthroughs, risk assessments, and evaluations of internal controls.
- Prepare audit programs, testing procedures, working papers, and supporting documentation.
- Collect, analyze, and evaluate audit evidence to support audit conclusions.
- Identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, compliance gaps, fraud risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare explicit, concise audit reports with practical, risk-based recommendations and discuss findings with process owners to agree on corrective actions.
- Monitor the implementation of agreed management action plans, conduct follow-up reviews, and report the status of outstanding audit observations.
- Review compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, delegated authorities, and applicable laws.
- Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to identify trends, anomalies, control deficiencies,



and opportunities to improve audit effectiveness and support continuous auditing initiatives.
- Assist in conducting fraud investigations, whistleblower reviews, and other special assignments while maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.
- Provide advisory support to Head of Audit by recommending enhancements to governance, risk management, internal controls, policies, procedures, and operational processes.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with Heads of Departments (HODs), process owners, and other stakeholders across the Group.
- Mentor and support junior audit staff, interns, or trainees, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Internal Audit function.
- Keep abreast of emerging risks, regulatory developments, and internal auditing best practices, and perform any other duties or special assignments assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.

Preferred candidate profile Candidate with CA Qualification and Healthcare background experience.
