The Centre for Thinking, Language and Communication (CTLC) at Plaksha supports the development of critical thinking, effective communication, language proficiency, and interdisciplinary learning among students.
About the Role
We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Intern Operations & Instructional Design to support the CTLC team in course administration, data management, instructional design, and academic coordination.
The intern will work closely with the team to maintain course trackers, manage student and mentor-related information, support course delivery, analyse data, and assist in preparing professional presentation decks and learning materials.
This role is suitable for graduates from any discipline who are interested in course administration, academic operations, data tracking, and instructional design.
Key Responsibilities
A. Course Operations & Administration
- Track Google Forms and coordinate appointment scheduling.
- Support mentor allocation and maintain relevant records.
- Maintain student rosters, course records, and administrative trackers.
- Help manage course administration for various CTLC courses.
- Monitor course-related records and ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
- Support guest faculty during course sessions and assist with coordination requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth course operations.
B. Data Management & Analysis
- Use Excel and Google Sheets to organise and maintain data sheets.
- Keep mastersheets, course trackers,
and other operational records updated.
- Track and consolidate information related to students, mentors, appointments, and course activities.
- Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and key insights.
- Present insights through clear and effective data representation.
- Support the preparation of reports and summaries based on course-related data.
C. Instructional Design & Presentation Support
- Assist in research, design, and preparation of presentation decks for various courses.
- Support slide deck preparation and allocation for communication-related training.
- Help organise learning materials and course content in a structured manner.
- Assist the team in developing clear, engaging, and professional instructional resources.
- Support improvements in course materials based on feedback and course requirements.
D. Coordination & Team Support
- Coordinate with internal team members, mentors, students, and guest faculty.
- Support scheduling, follow-ups, and day-to-day academic operations.
- Maintain proper documentation of course-related activities.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Support the CTLC team in other operational and instructional design requirements as needed.
Skills Required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisational, coordination, and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of data management and analysis.
- Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, Google Workspace, and MS Office.
- Ability to organise information in trackers and maintain updated records.
- Basic proficiency in preparing professional PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations.
- Ability to present data and insights in a clear and structured manner.
- Strong research, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn and work in an academic and collaborative environment.
Education & Qualification
- Graduates from any discipline who are interested in course administration, academic operations, data management, or instructional design.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, MS Office, and basic digital communication tools.
- Candidates with an interest in education, communication, instructional design, or academic coordination will be preferred.
- Prior experience is not mandatory; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
