Role Description The Intern – Indirect Tax role is a full-time (Minimum 1 month), on-site position based in New Delhi. The intern will assist in research and analysis of indirect tax laws, rules, and regulations, including GST and related matters.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting tax advisory and compliance work, drafting and reviewing documents, preparing summaries, and assisting in the preparation of filings and reports. The intern will collaborate with senior team members on client assignments, help maintain case files and documentation,



and support preparation for hearings, consultations, and internal presentations. This role offers hands-on exposure to indirect tax matters in a professional law firm environment.

The position of intern is open for both short term internship period and long term internship period.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding or academic exposure to Tax Law, particularly Indirect Taxation and GST.
- Ability to support Tax Planning and Tax Preparation activities under guidance from senior professionals.
- Interest and foundational knowledge in Tax and Finance, with an aptitude for numerical and analytical work.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a law degree (LL.B) or an equivalent legal program; coursework in tax or commercial law is preferred.
- Good legal research, drafting, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Office and legal research databases; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in New Delhi, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
