Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for ensuring safety operation in the plant and he support to production team for continuous operation without breakdown. He should maintain the equipments and instruments in good manner and all quality aspects at low cost for smooth functioning of instrumentation maintenance in our organization.

Principal Accountabilities

· Ensure the equipments / instruments are working properly without deviation in the plant

· All the instruments are to be calibrated as per the ISO standards (ISO-17025 )

· Continuous monitoring of all the CCP’s and OPRP equipments / instruments.

· Focus on continuous operation and maintenance activity in the plant.

· Prepare PM schedule and follow the PM activity as per the schedule.

· Performing validations(installation and operation qualification) for the equipment

· Technical evaluation of client requirement, Interlock write up as per the requirement and reviewing the interlock write up.

· reviewing the P & ID diagrams and control narratives

· Installation and commissioning of field instruments like Temperature , pressure, conductivity, pH, flow , level sensors and performing their calibration

· Performing FAT & SAT for the equipments and control panels

· Making changes in HMI and PLC program

· Trouble shooting control panels

· Reviewing the General assembly drawings

· Reviewing the isometric drawings

· Preparing & reviewing the instrument data sheets

· Maintenance of PLC control panels, Motor operated valves, pneumatic operated Gates and solenoid operated valves





· Performing preventive maintenance for field instruments like pressure, temperature, flow etc…

· Basic Trouble shoot of PLC and SCADA systems (Allen Bradley, Honeywell, Siemens, and delta make)

· Field verification of instrumentation connected to PLC and SCADA systems based on the requirements.

· Limit setting for actuators of valves (samson, Rotex, dembla, and alfa-laval make)

· Maintenance of level and flow sensors etc…

· Reviewing the basic Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams(P&IDs;)

· Installation/ testing /Commissioning and trouble shooting of PLC control panels

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

. Educational qualifications: BE (Instrumentation Engg, ECE).

. Relevant experience : 2 to 4 Years.

· Knowledge on Food Safety & Our Company policy.

· Knowledge on FIFO

· Knowledge on Quality standards for our all products.

· Knowledge on relevant departments (Production, QAD & Dispatch) activities.
