SecureFin Academy is an accounting and finance training institute delivering practical, job-ready training (Tally, Corporate Accounting, Taxation, and Compliance) to commerce and professional finance graduates (B.Com, M.Com, CA, CMA, ACCA).
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and leadership-oriented Institution Head / Academy Manager. In this role, you will take overall charge of day-to-day academy operations, supervise faculty, coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure consistent batch enrollments, support student academic progress, maintain quality standards, and coordinate seamlessly with the Operations Manager and CEO to drive institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities
A. Overall Academy & Daily Operations Management
- Oversee the end-to-end daily functioning and operational discipline of SecureFin Academy.
- Assist the Operations Manager in executing organizational strategies, batch scheduling, and resource planning.
- Report operational metrics, batch status, seat-fill rates, attendance trends, and key performance data directly to the Operations Manager and CEO.
- Ensure the academy maintains high professional standards, adequate infrastructure, and an engaging learning environment.
B. Faculty & Curriculum Management
- Manage, supervise, and support full-time and visiting faculty members.
- Ensure weekly and monthly lesson plans, practical assignments, and lab sessions are planned and executed on time.
- Monitor teaching quality,
student feedback, and trainers' alignment with industry requirements.
C. Admissions, Sales & Marketing Coordination
- Collaborate closely with the inside sales and marketing teams to establish clear admission targets for upcoming batches well in advance.
- Track admission pipelines, monitor lead-to-conversion efficiency, and ensure planned seat capacity is consistently achieved prior to every batch launch.
- Align marketing campaigns and outreach activities with the academic calendar to avoid enrollment gaps between concluding and upcoming batches.
- Conduct high-level academic counseling for prospective students and parents during walkthroughs or open days to drive conversion.
D. Student Lifecycle & Academic Support
- Manage the student journey from onboarding/induction through course completion and certification.
- Address student grievances, track academic performance, and ensure active participation in practical sessions.
- Coordinate with the HR/recruitment team to facilitate mock interviews, internships, and placement assistance for candidates.
E. Inter-Entity & Administrative Alignment
- Work closely with the HR & Admin team to ensure attendance records, student documentation, fee reconciliations,
and admission procedures run smoothly.
- Coordinate with the management of SecureTag Auditing for industry-exposure initiatives, real-world case studies, and practical accounting projects for students.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- On-time batch completion and curriculum coverage.
- Target batch occupancy rates (minimal gap in admissions between concluding and new batches).
- Sales-to-admission conversion alignment and timely batch fill rates.
- High student satisfaction, retention, and course completion rates.
- Faculty coordination efficiency and timely weekly planning.
- Accurate and punctual reporting to the Operations Manager and CEO.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or related disciplines (M. Com, MBA, or background in Finance/Education Management preferred).
Experience:
3–6+ years of operational/managerial experience, preferably in training academies, educational institutions, or corporate training centers with exposure to enrollment operations.
Leadership & Commercial Acumen:
Proven ability to lead a team of trainers, collaborate with sales teams to achieve admission targets, engage with ambitious students, and resolve operational bottlenecks independently.
Communication:
Robust interpersonal and communication skills in English and Malayalam.
Technical Familiarity:
Understanding of accounting education (Tally, GST, Corporate Accounting concepts) and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic CRM/data tracking tools.
