The role- IC India Technology & Data Manager The IC India Technology & Data Manager , Technology Services is responsible for the reliable, secure and cost-effective delivery of technology services across the India business. The role owns day-to-day oversight of end-user hardware, office and site networks, application technical support, IT service operations and third-party technology vendors. Working closely with business teams, global technology teams and service partners, the role ensures issues are resolved with urgency, changes are controlled, assets and services are well governed, and users receive practical, responsive support.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Technology service ownership: Manage the day-to-day delivery of workplace technology, infrastructure and technical support services across head office, factories, depots and other business locations in India.

Hardware and end-user computing: Oversee the lifecycle of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, meeting-room technology and related peripherals, including planning, deployment, support, inventory control, refresh and secure disposal.

Network operations: Coordinate reliable LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, internet and remote-access services. Monitor service performance, manage faults and escalations, and work with global teams and service providers on upgrades, capacity and resilience.

Application technical support: Provide and coordinate technical support for business applications, interfaces, access, devices and local dependencies. Lead triage, engage the correct resolver teams and ensure incidents are driven through to closure.

Incident and problem management: Own local coordination for priority incidents, communicate business impact and recovery status, support root-cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.

Service requests and user support: Ensure effective handling of user requests, joiner-mover-leaver activities, access coordination and technical queries through agreed service management processes and tools.

IT vendor management: Manage third-party suppliers for hardware,



network, workplace and application technical services. Track contracts, service levels, deliverables, costs, risks and improvement actions, and conduct regular service reviews.

IT asset and licence governance: Maintain accurate records of technology assets, ownership, warranty and lifecycle status. Support software licence compliance, audits, budgeting and cost optimisation.

Change and release coordination: Assess local impact of technology changes, coordinate testing and business readiness, ensure approvals and documentation are complete, and minimise disruption during implementation.

Cyber security and compliance: Apply company security standards for endpoints, networks, access and vendors. Support vulnerability remediation, patching, audit evidence, risk actions, business continuity and technology controls.

Business continuity: Maintain and test recovery arrangements for critical local technology services, including connectivity, devices, support contacts and vendor escalation paths.

Stakeholder partnership: Act as a trusted technology contact for business functions, sites and leadership. Translate operational needs into clear technical actions and provide timely, plain-language updates.

Projects and transitions: Support technology deployments, office or site changes, migrations, carve-out or transition activities, and new application or infrastructure rollouts from planning through stabilisation.

Service improvement and reporting: Monitor service performance, user experience, recurring issues, vendor results and costs. Maintain documentation and knowledge articles and drive practical improvements, standardisation and automation.

Financial management: Support annual planning, purchase requests, invoice validation and tracking of technology operating and project expenditure within approved budgets.

We're looking for

Experience, Qualifications And Capabilities

Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline. Relevant professional qualifications may be considered alongside strong practical experience.

Experience: Typically, 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, networks, end-user computing, service operations or application technical support, including experience coordinating vendors and business stakeholders. Prior experience in a multi-site manufacturing or FMCG environment is preferred.

Technical Expertise

Strong working knowledge of enterprise hardware and end-user computing; LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, internet, VPN and network troubleshooting; Microsoft 365 and Windows workplace technologies; identity and access fundamentals; application installation, integration dependencies and technical incident triage; IT asset and configuration management; security patching, endpoint controls and basic cyber security practices.

Service Management

Practical knowledge of incident, problem, request, change, asset, configuration and service-level management. Familiarity with ITIL practices and an enterprise ITSM platform such as ServiceNow is preferred.

Vendor And Commercial Management

Demonstrated ability to manage service providers, statements of work, purchase orders, contracts, SLA and KPI performance, escalations, invoice validation, cost control and continuous improvement.

Leadership And Ways Of Working:

Hands-on, accountable and calm under pressure. Able to prioritise competing demands, lead action across internal and external teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and follow through to closure.

Analytical And Communication Skills

Strong problem-solving, root-cause thinking, documentation and reporting skills.



Able to convert technical issues into simple business impact, decisions and actions. Preferred certifications

Mobility And Support Flexibility

Willingness to travel to factories, depots and offices in India when required and to support critical incidents or planned technology changes outside normal business hours.

Reliable availability of local technology services; timely incident resolution and clear communication; improved vendor SLA performance; accurate asset and support documentation; controlled technology costs; closure of audit and security actions; and positive user experience.
