HR Intern (Unpaid) — The Hustler Brands

Location: Remote

Duration: 2 months (extendable based on performance)

Stipend: This is an unpaid internship. No stipend is provided. Interns who deliver strong performance are eligible to progress into our paid Talent Acquisition Specialist track or a full-time work-from-home HR role.

About The Hustler Brands The Hustler Brands is a student-focused career development company running paid skill workshops, a Campus Ambassador network, and multiple internship tracks — all connected to our student community platform, DoubtSpace. We're building a lean, high-output team, and this role is a direct entry point into our HR and talent operations.

Role Overview

As an HR Intern, you'll support the sourcing, screening, and onboarding of interns across our various tracks (Talent Acquisition, Sales & Marketing, Data Analyst & Promoter, Campus Ambassador). This is a hands-on, high-learning role — you'll work directly with the founder and get real exposure to end-to-end HR operations at a growing company.

Responsibilities

- Source and screen candidates via LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, college groups, and referrals




- Coordinate outreach and initial candidate conversations
- Support onboarding: sending offer letters, onboarding kits, and Week 1 task drops
- Maintain candidate trackers and referral confirmations
- Assist with WhatsApp/email communication sequences for new hires
- Help enforce and communicate stipend structures and performance expectations clearly to candidates

Requirements

- Robust written communication skills
- Comfortable with WhatsApp-based, high-volume coordination
- Self-starter — able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prior HR, recruitment, or campus ambassador experience is a plus but not required

Performance & Progression

- Weekly performance reviewed on a Green/Yellow/Red basis
- Consistent Green performers may be offered a paid role (Talent Acquisition Specialist or full-time WFH HR) at the end of the internship
- This internship is unpaid at every stage — no stipend, bonus, or compensation of any kind is implied or guaranteed regardless of performance rating
