ABOUT THE ROLE

GenX PV is looking for an experienced Senior HR Manager with strong hands-on exposure to manufacturing-unit HR, Industrial Relations (IR), workmen management, labour-law compliance and factory HR administration. The ideal candidate should understand the practical HR requirements of a manufacturing facility in Karnataka and be capable of working closely with Production, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, Safety and Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage end-to-end HR operations for the manufacturing facility.

• Handle manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, deployment, attendance and leave administration.

• Manage Industrial Relations, workmen grievances, discipline and employee relations.

• Handle disciplinary matters, domestic enquiry coordination and related documentation.

• Ensure compliance with applicable Factories Act requirements, Karnataka factory/labour rules and other applicable labour laws.

• Maintain statutory registers, records, notices and returns applicable to the factory.

• Coordinate statutory inspections, audits and requirements of labour/factory authorities.

• Monitor working hours, shifts, weekly offs, overtime and attendance compliance.

• Manage contract labour, manpower contractors and contractor statutory compliance.

• Coordinate PF,



ESI, bonus, gratuity, wages and other applicable statutory requirements.

• Coordinate with Safety/EHS teams on employee welfare, safety training, medical examination and workplace requirements.

• Prepare manpower reports, HR MIS, turnover and absenteeism reports for management.

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures suitable for a manufacturing environment.

• Support employee engagement, retention, training and performance-management initiatives.

EDUCATION

• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• 8–12 years of overall HR experience, in a manufacturing/factory setting.

• Strong hands-on experience in Industrial Relations and workmen management.
