BathStory is a new-age bath-fittings brand, and we're entering our next phase of growth, where we'll be actively growing the team over the next few months. We're looking for a HR generalist to lead that hiring, set up our people foundations, and help build a place people genuinely love working at.

This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role, perfect for someone who wants ownership of a people function early in their career, not a seat in an established one.

You will:

1. Own hiring: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and giving every candidate a great experience. This will be a big focus over the next few months
2. Run onboarding that makes every new joiner feel set up and welcome from day one
3. Put basic people policies in place; such as leave, attendance, and the essentials a growing team needs
4. Manage day-to-day HR operations and keep things running smoothly
5. Drive culture and employee engagement, from the big stuff to the small, thoughtful things that make a team feel like they're all equally important characters in building BathStory :)
6. Work closely with the founders to shape how we grow as an organisation

You're right for this if:

- You have around 2–4 years of HR experience,



ideally some of it at a startup or a small, fast-moving company.
- You've done real recruitment, not just coordination. You know how to find exactly the right person for the right role.
- You're comfortable being a true generalist: hiring, onboarding, policy, HR ops, and culture, all in one role.
- You're organised and self-driven - you can set up systems where none exist yet.
- You're warm and genuinely like people. This role is equal parts systems and empathy.
- You take full ownership and don't wait to be told what needs doing.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications can also be an advantage.
- You have the ability to handle confidential information appropriately and maintain high ethical standards.
- You have excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
