About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to manage and oversee the complete HR function for a reputed school in Gandhinagar. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in school/education-sector HR, with sound knowledge of employee engagement, recruitment, compliance, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations for teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Handle recruitment and manpower planning for academic and administrative positions.
- Manage employee onboarding, induction, documentation, and exit formalities.
- Maintain and monitor attendance, leave, employee records, and HR MIS.
- Ensure timely implementation of HR policies, processes, and statutory compliances.
- Drive employee engagement, grievance handling, and staff retention initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Principal and school leadership on HR-related matters.
- Support performance management, appraisals,
and disciplinary processes.
- Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure HR documentation is up to date.
- Assist in building a positive, professional, and employee-friendly work environment.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably within a school, education institution, or similar environment.
- Robust understanding of school staff recruitment and HR operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Good knowledge of HR policies, labour laws, and statutory compliance.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently manage HR operations and work closely with school leadership.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR MIS.
