Job Title: Sr. HR Executive - Kidzonia Preschool
Department: Human Resources Reports To: Director Location: Sanpada (HO)Job Purpose:
The HR Manager is responsible for building, managing, and sustaining a high-quality, child-centric workforce at Kidzonia Preschool. This role ensures effective recruitment, staff development, compliance with education and labor laws, employee engagement, and a positive, safe, and nurturing workplace culture aligned with Kidzonia s values.
Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic HR Planning
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Kidzonia s educational philosophy and growth plans
Forecast staffing requirements based on enrollment, classroom ratios, and expansion plans
Advise management on organizational structure, manpower planning, and succession planning
Create HR policies that support child safety, inclusivity, and ethical conduct
1. Recruitment Talent Acquisition
Plan and execute recruitment for:
Preschool Teachers
Assistant Teachers
Caregivers / Nannies
Special Educators
Front Office / Admin Staff
Support Housekeeping Staff
Draft job descriptions and role expectations for all positions
Source candidates through job portals, referrals, teacher training institutes, and local networks
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate demo classes for teaching staff
Perform background verification, reference checks, and police verification (mandatory for child safety)
Issue offer letters, contracts, and appointment letters
1. Onboarding Induction
Design structured onboarding programs for new hires
Conduct induction sessions covering
School vision, mission, and values
Child protection and safeguarding policies
Classroom ethics and behavior standards
Health, hygiene, and safety protocols
Ensure completion of joining formalities and documentation
Coordinate classroom orientation and mentor allocation
1. Training Professional Development
Identify training needs for teaching and non-teaching staff Organize internal and external training programs on:
Early childhood education methodologies
Classroom management
Child psychology and behavior
Health, hygiene, and first aid
POSCO / Child Protection Laws (where applicable)
Maintain training records and certifications
Encourage continuous learning and skilled growth
1. Performance Management
Design and implement performance appraisal systems Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for teachers and staff
Conduct periodic performance reviews and feedback sessions
Support staff improvement plans and career progression
Recognize and reward high-performing employees
1. Employee Relations Engagement
Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative work culture Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts professionally
Act as a bridge between management and staff
Organize staff engagement activities, celebrations, and team-building events
Promote work-life balance in a preschool environment
1. Payroll, Compensation Benefits
Manage monthly payroll processing in coordination with accounts Ensure accurate attendance, leave, and overtime records
Administer employee benefits such as:
Leave policies
Medical benefits (if applicable)
Incentives and bonuses
Ensure timely salary disbursement and statutory deductions
1. Attendance, Leave Discipline Management
Maintain attendance tracking systems Implement and monitor leave policies
Handle absenteeism, late reporting, and disciplinary actions
Issue warning letters, show-cause notices, and termination letters when required
Conduct exit interviews and manage full final settlements
1. Legal Compliance Documentation
Ensure compliance with:
Labor laws
Education department regulations
Child protection and safety laws
Maintain statutory records and HR documentation
Handle inspections, audits, and documentation related to HR
Update HR policies as per legal changes
1. Health, Safety Child Protection
Implement child safety and safeguarding policies Ensure staff adherence to hygiene and safety standards
Conduct regular safety drills and awareness programs
Report and manage any incidents involving staff or children
Maintain confidential records related to child protection
1. HR Administration Records Management
Maintain employee files (physical and digital) Track contracts, renewals, and confirmations
Prepare HR reports for management:
Headcount
Attrition
Training
Performance
Support audits and management reviews
1. Culture Values Ambassador
Promote Kidzonia s values of care, creativity, respect, and professionalism Ensure staff behavior reflects the preschool s child-friendly culture
Support initiatives that enhance parent trust and school reputation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s / Master s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or related field
HR certification preferred
Experience
5-8 years of HR experience
Prior experience in
Preschool / School / Education sector (highly preferred)
Experience handling female-dominant workforce and caregivers is an advantage
