About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, responsible Housekeeping Supervisor for a private residence in Kolkata to oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations and ensure the home is maintained to a high standard at all times.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate household housekeeping staff.
- Allocate daily duties and monitor the quality of their work as necessary.
- Ensure proper cleaning and upkeep of all areas of the residence.
- Oversee grocery, pantry & kitchen inventory, laundry, ironing, linen and wardrobe-related requirements.
- Maintain adequate stocks of vegetables, fruits, cleaning materials, toiletries and other household supplies.
- Coordinate with the cook regarding daily/weekly requirements and with external vendors and service providers.
- Ensure guest rooms and common areas are kept properly prepared and maintained.




- Address day-to-day housekeeping requirements promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure the overall smooth functioning and upkeep of the residence.

Candidate Requirements

- Education: Any, Higher Secondary (12th Pass) Preferred.
- Relevant experience in housekeeping supervision or household management is preferred.
- Experience in a private residence, serviced residence or similar environment is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate and manage automated and technologically enabled household equipment and systems.
- Basic proficiency in English, particularly for reading, writing and routine correspondence.
- Should be trustworthy, responsible, disciplined and well-mannered.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion is essential.
