Role Description The House Keeping Manager role is a full-time, based Daiwik Hotels in Rameswaram. The manager will oversee all housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, laundry services, and inventory management for linen and cleaning supplies. Daily responsibilities include planning staff schedules, assigning tasks, monitoring cleanliness standards, and conducting regular inspections to ensure guest rooms and common areas meet brand and safety requirements.

The role involves coordinating training for housekeeping team members,



addressing guest feedback and service requests, and working closely with front office and food & beverage teams to support smooth hotel operations.

The House Keeping

Manager will also help implement hygiene, health, and sustainability practices aligned with the hotel’s service and community standards.

Qualifications

- Strong Supervisory Skills to lead housekeeping staff, manage schedules, and ensure consistent service standards.
- Effective Communication abilities for coordinating with team members, management, and guests, and documenting operational needs.
- Experience in Training housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service practices.
- Focus on Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to respond to guest requests, resolve issues, and maintain high-quality room and public area presentation.
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar supervisory role in hotels or hospitality environments.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, safety standards, and housekeeping best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per hotel operational requirements.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
