A family residing in Thrikkakara, Kochi is looking for a trustworthy, hygienic and responsible domestic worker/house-help for regular household work.

This is a direct employment chance with the family and not through a placement or maid-service agency.

Key ResponsibilitiesCooking

- Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner according to the family’s requirements.
- Cook hygienic and tasty Kerala and general Indian dishes.
- Prepare vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, if required.
- Plan daily meals in consultation with the family.
- Cut vegetables and complete other food-preparation activities.
- Keep the kitchen, cooking area, utensils and appliances clean.
- Store food and groceries properly.
- Monitor essential grocery supplies and inform the family when items need to be purchased.
- Follow the family’s dietary, health and food-safety requirements.

Household Work
- Sweep, mop and clean the house regularly.
- Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and common areas.
- Wash utensils and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
- Wash, dry, fold and organise clothes.
- Dust furniture and arrange household items properly.
- Dispose of household waste correctly.
- Handle household belongings carefully.
- Perform other reasonable household duties agreed upon during the interview.





Candidate Requirements
- Applicants must be aged 18 years or above.
- Previous experience in household cooking and domestic work is preferred.
- Must be able to cook Kerala-style food independently.
- Should be honest, punctual, hygienic and dependable.
- Should be comfortable communicating in Malayalam.
- Must be able to travel reliably to Thrikkakara if applying for a live-out position.
- References from previous employers are preferred.
- Identity and address verification will be required before appointment.

Salary and Benefits
- Monthly salary: ₹ 18000-20000, depending on experience, working hours and responsibilities.
