- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons for Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum.

- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, practical exercises, and assessments.

- Teach programming concepts, computational thinking, databases, networking, cybersecurity, and other topics as prescribed in the curriculum.

- Conduct and supervise computer practicals and laboratory sessions .

- Prepare students for board examinations through regular revision, practice tests, and doubt-clearing sessions.

- Evaluate students assignments, practical work, projects, classwork, and examinations and maintain accurate records.

- Identify students who require additional academic support and provide remedial teaching where necessary.

- Encourage students to participate in coding, technology, science, and innovation-related activities and competitions .

- Ensure the proper and responsible use of computers, internet, software, and other digital resources.

- Maintain discipline and a positive learning workplace in the classroom and computer laboratory.

- Keep updated with developments in Computer Science, AI, emerging technologies, and digital education tools .

- Collaborate with other teachers and the school management in academic planning and school activities.





- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, workshops, training programmes, and other school events.

- Perform other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Principal/Management.

Required Qualifications

- Master s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.

- CTET/TET qualification will be an added advantage, wherever applicable.

- Strong knowledge of Computer Science and programming concepts .

- Candidates should have good proficiency in English.

Experience

- Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level preferred.

- Experience teaching CBSE Class XI-XII Computer Science will be an advantage.

- Fresh candidates with strong subject knowledge and relevant qualifications may also be considered, depending on the school s requirements.
