- Dispense medicines as per doctor’s prescription.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines and medical supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of medicines, stock, expiry dates, and batches.
- Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requests when required.
- Check incoming medicines for quantity, quality, batch number, and expiry.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy and healthcare regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation for controlled and temperature-sensitive medicines.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff regarding medication requirements.
- Handle patient queries related to prescribed medicines and their usage.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and well maintained.
- Minimize medicine wastage and ensure timely replacement of near-expiry stock.
Requirements
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacy Registration.
- Good knowledge of medicines and prescriptions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience in a hospital, clinic, or fertility centre will be an advantage.
