Role Description The Head Senior Chef is a full-time, in office role based at Amrit Bhawan and Amrit Sadan (2 Properties next to each other with 2 F&B; Outlets and 11 Keys in total) in Haridwar. This role is responsible for planning and executing daily menus, leading all kitchen operations, and ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Chef supervises and trains kitchen staff, manages inventory and procurement, and collaborates with management to design seasonal and experiential dining concepts that align with the property’s boutique positioning. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing food preparation, controlling costs, maintaining kitchen safety protocols,



and ensuring timely service for guests across all meal periods. The role also involves engaging with guests when appropriate to understand preferences, accommodate dietary requirements, and elevate the overall culinary experience.

Qualifications

- Strong culinary skills, including menu planning, recipe development, and expertise in Indian and international cuisines.
- Experience in kitchen operations, including team leadership, staff training, and shift coordination.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in inventory management, vendor coordination, and cost control.
- Ability to design experiential and seasonal dining concepts that complement boutique hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with guests.
- Prior experience as a Head Chef, Senior Chef, or similar leadership position in hotels, resorts, or high-end restaurants.
- Formal culinary education or certification from a recognized institute is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Willingness to relocate to and work on-site in Haridwar, with flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts.
