Role Description The Head of Production – Garment Manufacturing will oversee end-to-end production operations for all product lines, ensuring garments are delivered on time, within budget, and to brand quality standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and includes managing pattern development, sampling, bulk production, finishing, and dispatch in alignment with design and merchandising teams. The role involves leading and mentoring production staff, setting daily and weekly production targets, optimizing workflows, and resolving operational bottlenecks on the factory floor.

The Head of Production will collaborate on vendor and fabric sourcing,



monitor quality across all stages of manufacturing, and ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and sustainability practices. The position also requires regular reporting on production performance, cost efficiencies, and capacity planning to support brand growth in domestic and international markets.

Qualifications

- Solid production planning and scheduling skills to manage multiple collections and timelines.
- Proven expertise in production management and garment manufacturing processes, from sampling to bulk output.
- Experience in operations management, including workflow optimization, resource allocation, and process improvement.
- Demonstrated team management capabilities, including supervising floor staff, training, and performance management.
- Sound budgeting and cost control skills, with experience managing production budgets and vendor costs.
- Extensive experience in fashion or garment manufacturing, preferably in premium or designer wear.
- Strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, quality standards, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with design, merchandising, sourcing, and logistics teams.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail under tight timelines.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Fashion Technology, Garment Manufacturing, Production, or related field.
