Role Description The Head of Human Resources at Vardaan Hospital is a full-time, on-site role based in Raipur. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire HR function, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee development. The role involves designing and implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, managing employee relations, and supporting department leaders with HR guidance.





The Head of HR will also lead initiatives related to compensation and benefits, HR analytics, retention strategies, and organizational culture. On a day-to-day basis, the role includes coordinating HR operations, handling escalated employee issues, driving continuous improvement in HR processes, and partnering with senior leadership on strategic people initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience leading HR teams or functions in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.

- Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and HR Policies, with the ability to ensure regulatory compliance and design fair, transparent HR frameworks.

- Experience in Employee Relations, including handling grievances, conflict resolution, engagement initiatives, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.

- Proven ability in strategic HR planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience using HR metrics and data to inform decisions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.

- Demonstrated ability to operate in a quick-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high ethical and professional standards.
