Role Description The Head of Finance at The Chennai Silks is a full-time, in office role based in Tiruppur. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including preparation and review of financial statements, budgeting, and financial reporting for the organization.

Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, analyzing financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making with data-driven insights. The Head of Finance will lead the finance team,



establish and refine internal controls, collaborate with senior leadership on long-term financial planning, and support cost optimization across business units.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance with proven experience managing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess performance, and support strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated expertise in Budgeting, including planning, monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Experience leading finance teams and implementing effective internal controls and compliance processes.
- Proficiency with financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Tiruppur and collaborate effectively with operational and retail teams.
